The free webinar I gave on Geoscience and Large Language Models was recorded and is now online. We had over 300 people register worldwide, some great questions. The purpose was to raise awareness in this area and stimulate ideas and questions within the international earth science community.
I gave examples covering research and academia, mining, geohazards, carbon capture and storage, oil & gas, geotechnical, environmental monitoring etc. Some incredible opportunities as well as being mindful to many ethical concerns.
