Ethical use of Artificial Intelligence

The European Geosciences Union (EGU) has recently released guidelines for the use of AI-based tools in the publication process. This is to help ensure the ethical use of AI tools in the rapidly evolving landscape of scholarly communication.

UNESCO recently published material on the ethics of AI itself and use of guardrails which is also worth a read:

“Getting AI governance right is one of the most consequential challenges of our time, calling for mutual learning based on the lessons and good practices emerging from the different jurisdictions around the world.”
