First Subsurface Large Language Model (LLM) Hackathon

Congratulations to all those that took part in the first subsurface Large Language Model (LLM) Hackathon last week using data from the UK, Norway and The Netherlands government repositories. The event coincided with the anniversary 1 year ago of the launch of ChatGPT.

This is an area where the first practical deployments of LLM’s are emerging, limitations and issues are being discovered (of which there are many), new opportunities and innovations emerging (of which there are many).

Congratulations to Peter Bormann , Petter Dischington and FORCE along with all those who helped organise and make it happen.

The pace of change is so fast, I’m not going to make any predictions for 2024 other than we are all going to learn a lot more!
